LaBoiteaux Woods Nature Preserve and Center

Join in the efforts hosted by The Friends of LaBoiteaux Woods (CPAC) to improve the state of the natural resources this forest offers. 

Spring events: Garlic Mustard pulling, Winter Creeper and other invasive vines pulling/cutting.

Fall events: Honeysuckle cutting, breaking down, treating of stumps (trained service persons only), trail clearing. Occasionally planting of native trees/plants.

Parents and caregivers, do you and your toddler need some fresh air? Come catch your breath while enjoying some quality time with your little one. You will both get a taste of nature through naturalist-led stories, games, animal encounters and more in a safe a relaxing atmosphere. New theme each week. Online registration is required.

Enjoy a Naturalist led hike through LaBoiteaux Woods to view the changes happening in the forest. Trails are steep and rugged, sturdy footwear with good tread is highly recommended. Cameras and children welcome. No dogs, please. Online registration is required. Severe weather cancels this program.
