The City of Cincinnati is proud to create a public outdoor memorial honoring civil rights leader Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This meaningful tribute will be located at the northeast corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive East and Reading Road, in the heart of Uptown’s Avondale neighborhood.

We’re excited to invite you to be part of this historic project! Join us for a variety of community engagement sessions to stay informed, share your input, and learn how you can take part in shaping the memorial’s final design. Upcoming Meetings and Opportunities
The City of Cincinnati and the artist team at Re:Site invite you to help shape the final design of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Project by sharing your treasured photos and memorabilia. Spread the word and start gathering your items!
Community members can contribute through both digital and in-person opportunities. Stay tuned for details on the City's upcoming Photo Scanning Day—a special event where you can bring your photos and memorabilia to be scanned while connecting with others in the community.
