The Department of Economic Inclusion would like to congratulate our July 2024 Business Enterprise of the Month, R&M Solutions and Repair!

R&M Solutions and Repair provides interior and exterior cleanup services including removal and disposal of litter, tires, mattresses, and other large items. They also secure and board up construction sites and provide graffiti removal and cover up services as well. 

 

Rachel Romanelli, Owner, had the following to say upon receiving the award, "R&M Solutions and Repair was a vision that my husband Mike and I had that is a perfect combination of our two different sets of skills and backgrounds. He is the Director of Field Operations, building on his 25+ years of experience working in construction across a variety of different projects. My experience is more suited to managing the office day to day with everything from contracts and insurance to estimates, billing, and bookkeeping. It is not easy to run a small business- it is a lot of work, but it has been so rewarding to see it grow over the 3 1/2 years since it was started. One of the benefits I see from being designated a WBE with the City of Cincinnati is the visibility into opportunities that the Department of Economic Inclusion provides. Through regular communications on upcoming projects and [the] connections they facilitate via conferences and meetups, our small business has a chance to be aware of and bid for projects that might not otherwise have been accessible without this network and without their support."
