Purpose: The Cincinnati Retirement System (CRS) Board is ultimately responsible for all administration and management of the Cincinnati Retirement System including setting retirement system policies, approving the overall investment plan and asset allocation strategy, reviewing and approving budgets and acting as fiduciaries of the System.
Number of Appointments: 9 Members; 4 Mayoral Appointments
Term Length: 4-Year Terms
Special Requirements: Of the four mayoral appointments, at least two must have the following qualifications:
i) Baccalaureate degree in finance, economics, business, or other field of study involving financial management OR
ii) A minimum of 10 years of experience in pension administration, pension actuarial practice, institutional investment management, employee benefits/investment law, banking, asset/liability management for an insurance company, or university or college professor with a focus on fiduciary or trust fund law or a quantitative background in financial theory or actuarial math.
