City Announces Improvements to Curbside Recylcing Program

The City recently signed a new contract with its longtime partner Rumpke Recycling to collect and process the City's recyclables. As part of the new agreement, residents can recycle more items than ever before. You can now place all plastic bottles and jugs  (no lids) and pizza boxes (free of food residue) in your recycling bin.

Mayor Mark Mallory, Councilmember Qualls, Councilmember Harris, Larry Falkin, Director of the Office of Environmental Quality, Sue Magness, City of Cincinnati's Recycling Coordinator, and several representatives from Rumpke Recycling unveiled the new acceptable items at a press conference on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the original LaRosa's on Glenway Avenue.
