Consumer products, financial services, and marketing services companies all have a strong presence in downtown Cincinnati and six Fortune 500 companies call Cincinnati home. The regional economy has successfully diversified its economy with industries including: aerospace, bioscience, chemistry, automotive production, consumer products, marketing and financial services companies.

Cincinnati has an excellent transportation infrastructure with non-stop air service to 118 cities, direct highway access to Interstates 75, 71, and 74, the Ohio River, and a major north/south rail corridor.

The skill sets of our workforce are developed through our educational institutions and strong college co-op programs, including the University of Cincinnati, Xavier University, Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, and the Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Development.

Cincinnati has also continued to outpace the nation in expanded facilities. In 2008, Site Selection Magazine ranked Cincinnati #4 in the nation among “tier-one” cities for its number of new and expanded facilities. Additionally, for the 3rd year in a row, Ohio has won the Governor’s Cup for the most expanded facilities.
