Mission Statement
The Internal Audit Division conducts comprehensive performance audits of selected city programs, systems, and functions in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Audit Standards(GAGAS). We respond with internal or contract resources to emergent Council or City Manager issues requiring audit objectivity.
The Internal Audit Division seeks to promote and enhance the effective and efficient performance of our city agencies and programs. To that end, the Internal Audit Division strives to help "managers manage better."
